This refers to the controlled interaction of multiple colors. The color system of the name-bearing ... of the subsidiaries bearing Daimler as part of their company name is characterized by a sophisticated, silver appearance. The high-gloss silver logotype and the brushed surface replicating the metal, stainless steel surfaces, dominate the color system. Silver is used to illustrate the Daimler logotype and the brushed surface only. For print products, the logotype shall be produced as part of hot-foil embossing with a high-gloss luster in conjunction with the PantonePantone
The Pantone matching system (PMS) consists of spot colors (“special colors”) from Pantone LLC. 10077 special color brushed surface.

Silver is used to illustrate the Daimler logotype and the brushed surface only.

Additional Colors

Petrol and Deep Red are colors that are only used in selected areas, for instance to highlight content. Petrol may be made lighter or darker and two, darker colors are additionally available for Deep Red. Both colors are not intended to cover large surfaces. Within the color system, surfaces shall feature Light Grey and darker gradations only.

Signal Red shall be used in exceptional cases and to highlight mandatory safety notices, prohibitions, etc. only.
