To get started inserting additional slides, click the "New Slide" button and select the layout that you prefer for your new slide. The “Layout” option in the toolbar also provides a gallery view with a quick preview, that can be used to apply a new layout to one or more selected slides.

Title Slides
The raising surface with the brushed surface is placed at the top of the title slides and the corporate logotype is placed at the top left. The brushed surface can be used at three defined standard heights. It may not be modified or distorted. If the brushed surface is combined with an image, the presentation title is in white on the brushing in one to three lines. Daimler CS (Corporate S) Regular is used in font sizeFont Size
The unit of measurement for the font size is the point (pt). 30 pt. The text on the brushed surface always keeps the minimum distance of 1x “D” from the sides and the raising edge. This ensures that the headline does not run too close or even into the image. The free spaceFree Space

Title slides with images are available in two variants: with a large image and a short headline or with a smaller image and a longer headline.
If no suitable image material is available for the title slide, the brushed surface can be combined with a surface in Light Grey. The presentation title can be in one to five lines in black on the colored surface.
Agenda Slides
The agenda can be on a white slide or on a slide made from a combination of brushed surface and a colored surface in Light Grey. The headline is set in Daimler CS (Corporate S) Regular in 30 pt, and the body of the text in Daimler CS (Corporate S) Regular 20 pt. Markings are highlighted in bold. In addition, the company name, the presentation details and the slide number are placed in the footer. They are set from Daimler CS (Corporate S) Regular 10 pt in black and the individual pieces of information separated from one another by a vertical slash. If a white agenda slide is used, the footer is separated from the content with a fine black line.
Section Divider Slides
To structure a presentation, section divider slides can be used. Here, the brushed surface is at the top and can be combined with an image or a colored surface in Light Grey. The text is in white on the brushed surface in Daimler CS (Corporate S) Regular 30 pt. In addition, the presentation details and the slide number are listed in the footer.
Text-Image Slides
Pure text slides are on a white background. The headline is set from Daimler CS (Corporate S) Regular in 30 pt. The body of the text appears in Daimler CS (Corporate S) Regular in 20 pt. Markings are highlighted in bold. Summaries or brief text highlights can be in Petrol. In addition, the company name, the presentation details and slide numbers are listed in the footer, separated from the content by a fine, black line.
Text can be combined with images and placed below or next to the images. Several images on one slide should have a standard width and/or height, and should be positioned so that they adjoin.
Image Slides
A full-format use of individual motifs is as possible as is the surface-filling use of several images. Full-surface image slides close at the bottom with a footer on a white background.
Chart Slides
The design of tables, bar and column diagrams etc. is based on rules related to the “Charts and Infographics” manual. The color scheme is guided by the silver color system, which is implemented in Light Grey and its shades. Petrol is used as an accentuating color. Feedback Slide
Feedback is a part of the daily work at Daimler: as precursor to our best work. That is why the participants should be informed of the possibility to provide direct feedback in the closing remarks of the presentation. Installation of the smartphone app “ECHO” is a required prerequisite for receiving and giving feedback. The use of the App is optional, the feedback that has been exchanged is personal and confidential and can only be viewed by the feedback giver and feedback recipient.
The app is available in the App Store of Daimler AG (“Apps@Work”) and can be downloaded free-of-charge. After installing the app, each user is assigned a personal QR codeQR Code
The abbreviation QR stands for “quick response.” Such codes depict encrypted information in the form..., which is inserted into the “feedback slide” and can be supplemented with further information. The feedback providers scan the QR code with the app on their smartphone and can then immediately submit their feedback on a lecture or presentation.
