The design of digital media, in particular Internet sites, web applications, and mobile services, is subject to the web design requirements that are derived from the basic principles of the Corporate Design for subsidiaries with Daimler as part of their company name. The standards apply worldwide to all name-bearing subsidiaries and are binding for the design and implementation of online media.

A central Online Ecosystem serves as the design basis for all online media that bear reference to Daimler name-bearing subsidiaries and is binding for all Internet sites of legal entities that bear “Daimler” as part of their company names. Furthermore, it is used for internal and external Web-based applications. Stringent use of the Online Ecosystem helps to ensure a uniform and coherent appearance for all digital channels, and thus conveys a unique visual identityIdentity
